New Look

My blog will be exactly one year old next week and that's as good a reason as any for a bit of a change.

I was getting tired of having such a dark blog, so I decided to lighten things up a little.

I can't believe it has been a whole year already!

Very snazzy look indeed!

Sorry that I never reply to my comment e-mails! You should know by now that I'm the world's laziest blogger.

So, on that look: Yes, the show I watched on Kudu Club was Amalia, and I loved it! Unfortunately I joined too late, so I never got to see Song vir Katryn. Now waiting patiently for Dit Wat Stom Is. So hungry for Afrikaans T.V. that I don't even mind TOO much that Annie Malan is in it! :-D

And tell your sis Mazel Tov on the pending wedding! W00T! I suspect that the lucky guy is the same one she told me about last year when we chatted online (she has a bit of a history with him?).

Happy Friday!

Thanks for all the nice comments!

Red - I think that Amalia was 10 times better than Song for Katryn anyway. It basically used the cream of South Africa's acting, writing and directing talent, and it shows. Marius Weyers was amazing in his Colombo-like role.

Just be glad that you are not seeing 'Hart van Staal' - it is cringeworthy enough to quench even your thirst for Afrikaans.

And yes, it is the same guy. We'll just have to wait and see when the actual wedding is going to take place though, since there is R50 fine for asking about it - "fundraising".

Of dalk is jy 'n moffie.
Jou skurk.
