Wow, a quarter of a century...

It always sounded so old. So far away.
Now I'm there, but I don't really feel any different.

Image Problems

I know that a lot of the graphics are broken at the moment.
I'm not sure what went wrong, or why it is only some of the images.

I have contacted Imageshack, to see if they can fix it, but for now it looks like I'm going to have to re-upload and re-link everything.

New Look

My blog will be exactly one year old next week and that's as good a reason as any for a bit of a change.

I was getting tired of having such a dark blog, so I decided to lighten things up a little.

I can't believe it has been a whole year already!

I was wondering why my traffic suddenly increased this morning.
While seriously trying to refrain from scaring the whole office with my expressions of glee, and only succeeding in toning it down to unsuppressably girlish giggling, I can still not quite grasp the fact that my writing won Best post on a South African blog!
What were they thinking!

One for Best New Blog and another for Best post on a South African blog for my post 'Do you remember?'

Who would have guessed? And thanks for whoever nominated me. This is really great.

The Image In Question

For no logical reason whatsoever, the moment I uploaded this image, it caused my entire template to disappear, leaving me with exactly one blank screen for a blog.

I don't know why, but my blogs don't seem to appear on my homepage, and I don't know enough about html to figure out how to fix it.

The Blog

(I should probably be working, but having recently discovered blogging, I am much too intrigued by it to really want to teach people how to use Vodacom's Call Me function right now.)

This is just a test blog - there has to be something on my page. I still have to decide what I really want to write about.

Anyway, I think puppies are the best kind of hot water bottle, especially if they are surprise visitors to the office. Dozing off on your lap, oblivious to everything - priceless.

What are the chances of anybody actually reading this? Not much I guess. Still, why should you always do something for other people to see - so this is mine, my thoughts, my views, my blog.
